​MARIKO KANTO

​Producing-Artistic Director

Mariko is a founding member of ARRT, and has been behind the stage for almost all of our productions as a producer, etc. As an event-producer, she has organized several fundraising events as well as the annual Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Memorial.

Olivia Murphy

Webmaster

Olivia has been helping build and update the ​ARRT website since 2018 as well as the second annual Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Memorial as an intern from the Japan Society of Boston the same year.

Yoko Yeaton

House Manager (ARRT/HNPM)

Yoko is a newcomer to the ARRT family (ARRTers) as a House Manager. You will see her at our check-in desks in our future productions, including the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Memorial (Part 1), coming up on August 5, 2021. She has been a member of  Cambridge-based volunteer group, Tewassa (meaning "handmade"), which has been making "messaged" quilts to get delivered to the tsunami-stricken areas of Japan since 3.11.2011. You will see her peace crafts for sale at the peace memorial this year. She has also worked on a puppet theatre production.

Hitomi Ogawa

Public Relations (HNPM)

​Hitomi is a Hiroshima-native who has been helping this annual event since 2018. As a member of the volunteer group, Tewassa (tewassa.org), she has also been volunteering for Boston Japan Film Festival, also an annual event.

Ikumi Kondo

HNPM Peace Correspondent Hiroshima

Ikumi has been helping HNPM in numerous ways since the first 2017 ceremony, most notably as a peace correspondent and an interviewer of the "75 Years Later" in the 2020 virtual ceremony which premiered on our Hiroshima-Nagasaki Peace Memorial Boston YouTube channel. She is a versatile artist, photographer and Hokkori-caligrapher, and currently on one-year stay in Alabama with her husband also from Hiroshima. The Hiroshima 7th River Photography Club, of which Ikumi is a member of, has been providing the "Kenka (flower dedication)" slide show for the HNPM.
